The Hypertension Initiative: Leveraging Innovations for New Communities Grant - Mandela Washington Fellowship


I was awarded the LINC Grant for Mandela Washington Fellowship alumni by the Department of State, US, to implement the Hypertension Initiative where nurses in primary healthcare were trained in hypertension care in selected districts in the Northern Ghana


Mandela Day Service Grant: Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Project


I collaborated with a fellow alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship to implement a project in Northern Ghana targeted at improving under-5 nutrition.


2025 Madela Day Service at Tamale Central Prisons


I co-led with other alumni of the Mandela Washington Fellowship to mobilise resources to rehabilitate the Tamale Central Prisons infirmary, Ghana. We also donated medicines and medical logistics.


Improving Blood Pressure Measurement in Outpatient Settings in a Teaching Hospital


I am the co-PI for this grant that aims to ensure accurate blood pressure measurement in the outpatient settings of the Tamale Teaching Hospital using a human-centred design.
